Nothing new with anybody?

Here we expecting snow not that much (not for me from LI/NY)4-6 inches. But then becoming windy with drifting

My problem is that I have to work tomorrow and people here do not know how to drive in the snow! They drive like it is normal conditions!

Sorry just venting-I just hate winter weather and having to drive.

We're getting ready for some of the coldest days in years here. Hubby's out now plugging things up and disconnecting stuff. Going to have to run the heater in the camper tonight.

It's times like this I'm glad I don't have to drive to work but that doesn't keep me from worrying about him and my daughter out on the roads.

Look....it's the freebie snowman gang!!

Hope everyone had a good day.....even if it was chilly/freezing around the country. Luckily everyone at my house likes a cool feeling so we don't have to keep the heater running constantly. I shudder to think what the utility bills will be for everyone next month.

I was just talking about this. Between the heater, the Christmas lights, the heater in the camper... ugh! Sometimes I'm glad December is over.

No freebies yet -- but no bills either.

I've been looking for freebies to post but everything that looks interesting has already been posted. I dont know how SCG, Glory, Jess and the rest of you find all those great freebies so quickly -- but I'm glad you do!

Houston is getting ready for the coldest spell we've had in decades. The temp is predicted to get down to 17-19 and not get above freezing for at least 2-3 days.

Camper, the cold is supposed to hit here early in the morning. So I imagine you're probably getting it right about now. I've covered my plants, drained and unhooked the garden hoses, covered the outside pipes and opened the kitchen cupboard doors that are on the outside wall. I always debate about whether to leave the sink/tub faucets dripping through the night.

It's starting to drop right now. Gone down a dregree in the last few minutes. Sitting at 36 right now here. We've had a few in the 20's already out where we are so our stuff has been ready for awhile. We have always left the faucet dripping during the night, but today I'm going to spread out some laundry and then the dishwasher.

Coffee will be on all day if your in the area.

So does any one have warm weather? We had some light snow last night, maybe 3 inches.
We are now 15 feels like 0. Tomorrow will be 10-20 below due to the winds.

No....it is really COLD and I'm in ORLANDO....the home of the terrarium weather.
I had a little frost on my windshield this morning, but I didn't use (& ruin) my debit card like last year to scrape it off. I just blew the defroster until it went away. I felt like I had made a very snazzy decision and went off to work happy.

I can't believe I'm still up this late. I have GOT to go to bed!!!
