Even though some don't agree about a degree I think eventually not having a college degree does catch up with you. Unless you went to trade school a degree even in liberal arts is not worthless.
My husband is in investment banking-an administrative assistant was looking to move up but couldn't even though she had so many years of experience not having a degree held her back.

There are plenty of people out there with degrees who are complete morons, but I still agree with you. Unfortunately, without a degree in SOMETHING, a person will be passed by for promotions for those with degrees....even if they have less experience. Unless someone lucks up in their own business, it's hard for a young person now to make a comfortable living without a college degree.

I know...I was watching on and off all day for it. Thankfully our sweet Suncoast caught it while the star was still HOT off the press!

I hope texasfirewheel is feeling better soon!

I had a nice freebie day at the mailbox...but it was for Fri & Sat.

Great time meeting with some family friends from Minnesota today. They got a really great deal on a resort villa rental for the week. They said they were really SHOCKED when they got off the plan yesterday and it was sleeting at the airport. They expected to wear shorts.

I may not be online Monday (tomorrow) since they want to meet up at Epcot tomorrow after I get off of work. They made reservations to eat in 'France' ....LOL! I like going to Epcot...but not when I have to wear warm clothes. Well, maybe the sun will come out and it won't be too cold. OR OR OR...I'll drink enough wine to warm right up!!!

Hope everyone is having a fun weekend and signing up for lots of freebies!!
