Now is the situation getting old....or are you indicating YOU are getting old?

Seriously, I've really noticed since I've gotten older that I can't tolerate as much cold or heat. (or maybe I'm just getting more cranky......)

Since the kids are out of town for a few days, I thought I would celebrate by taking the day off. It is heaven.

Glory-glad to hear you are enjoying your day. Nothing like a pj day.

Are you enjoying your new computer. They are a lot of fun but can be time consuming and also frustrating to learn all the new hardware/software etc. I always spent a lot of time Googling to find my answer to my question .My kids would help. My son-no patience-would just do it for me-on the other hand my daughter would make me do it !
That was in the past-now I would just ask on the computer forum.

As you can see....I took ANOTHER day off. How lazy is that? I do plan to run some errands today and get some other stuff done.....like checking my mail. At least it is payday...so if there are any bills in there I won't worry about it.

I love the new computer and did have to go through a few of the Window 7 tutorials. I have to get used to when the curser hovers over anything....either a new window will pop up or something else will change. For me the worst thing is getting used to the finger touch pad since I am used to the IBM wand. The touch pad is way over to the left which I find so awkward. I'm about ready to hook a mouse up to it.

I would think that having the touch pad over to left would take some time getting used to-I know when we are on the road and take my lap top my husband is always using the wireless mouse. He hates the touch pad.

Me on the other hand-right now on my lap top, using the touch pad but it is in the middle.

Having the touch pad in the middle makes perfect sense. I'm beginning to wonder if I bought the only one designed for left handed people. I think I'm going to look around online to see if anyone else is complaining about this design.

I'm happy I got my errands done. One was getting a copy of the lost title of my daughter's car. Of course the closest tag office is pretty darn far and I ended up driving there during the tornado warnings. I was trying to smoke a cigarette, so I rolled the window down and this HUGE drop of water splats right into my eye. So then my eye was itchy from eye liner running into it. What an afternoon!! I would've have more fun at work.

Nothing like a Divine hint!

I'm now using the laptop with a wireless mouse I had on hand. I know why they put that stupid touch pad on the left.....now I have all that room on the right for my tiny mouse. This is so much easier!!!

I'll be gone until this evening. I want to go visit my other grandchildren (the ones who don't live with me). My granddaughter is 4 and my other grandson is 1. They have wonderful parents with a very busy life....so I don't get to see them as often even though they only live a couple of hours away. (Nanny brings great gifts!!)

Hope everyone has a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday. I'm not much of a football fan, but I know most people are. Here's some breakfast treats to get you started:

and some flowers to make you smile:
