My family is so used to getting all sorts of stuff in the mail that we will probably never used. I end up giving lots of it away or saving it up for stocking stuffers.

Like that Cheese Cupid T shirt most of us got. It is well made and of good fabric....but 'Cheese Cupid' is sort of like being a 'Fart Fairy'....and I really don't want to wear it in public.

Do you have low blood pressure, Texas? I have normal b/p, but on the low side. If my feet get cold, I can't fall asleep. I sleep in socks a lot.

Actually, Wurzig, my intolerance for cold started after my stroke. My b/p was always high, even when I was young -- and, since the stroke, it's been controlled with lots of meds. So I guess you could say it's low, only because it's much lower than it's been in 40 years.

The stroke changed a lot of other things too. It changed my taste for foods...I used to love all kinds of breads, all chocolates and all meats. Now I dont like the taste of any of them. I never drank coffee; now I cant get enough of it. I always wore dresses; now i live in jeans and slacks.

I worked a double shift and then came home to 'toddler duty'. We finally got my daughter's junky car sold and now need to get her another one (with help from mom's tax money). In the meanwhile, we only have one car between us. I work morning shift - she'll be working nights - so no problem there.....until they told me today that the LA Times wants us to do a special project for them and I would be needed pretty much for double shifts for the next month. The extra money is always a blessing....but it sure isn't leaving me much free time.

But as the saying goes.....This too shall pass. I'll just do the best I can with the time I've got. I DID get some freebies posted! I was worried I wouldn't find any this late in the day.

I think I'll call it a day and go to bed.

And Jess.....once again....I'm just thrilled that you got the free Docker pants win!!!
