And lots of freebie magazines...this week alone I've gotten:
Newsweek, Bloomberg, Computer World, Prevention, Budget Travel, Islands, Fitness, Field & Stream, Arthritis Today, Coastal Living, Country Living, Discover (a surprisingly neat magazine), Time and others that I cant recall.
Maybe you should start a Magazine Stand outside your house for extra bucks TFW!

I got the color catcher too! LOVE those things. Have saved my butt a few times with hubby's stupid white shirts.

I also got the baseball cap with my initials on it!!!! It's cool looking.

And... got a three pack of Hills brothers cappuccino, butter rum flavor. I may keep theses, never had a cappuccino before.

Not a bad day at all I say....

I got a Hankook tire gauge set--super nice in a metal case with a flashlight in it too. Did anyone else get this? I hope it was free!!!

Interesting idea about the magazine stand. We have loads of them everywhere, and I hate to throw them out or recycle them if they're not time-sensitive magazines. If I put a big box of them out there with a $10 price tag, I am sure someone would take them! If I put 'free'...who knows!

The tire gauge doesn't sound familiar but I hope I sent for it.

You guys are getting such good stuff! I havent been sending off for many freebies lately. Maybe that's why I'm not receiving many.

The freebies that I really do enjoy are the magazines. I love to read so much -- but, since my stroke, I have trouble reading books. Unless I read a book in one sitting (which is hard to do), I have trouble remembering what happened in the previous sitting when I go back to read some more. So I truly enjoy magazines even more nowadays.

I've gotten about a dozen freebie magazines in the past week. My favorite is NEWSWEEK, which was a six-month freebie and is ending next week. I had hoped to buy a subscription but it's just too expensive. However, my next-favorite is TIME, which wasnt totally free -- it cost $2.00 for a year's subscription, which is close enough to free for me. I really enjoy that one and it doesnt run out until September 2012.

I also enjoy the women's magazines -- LADIES HOME JOURNAL, WOMENS DAY and FAMILY CIRCLE. And I really like DISCOVER, THE ATLANTIC, POPULAR MECHANICS and REAL SIMPLE. I got all those subscriptions for $2/year. I have to cancel the automatic renewal in September 2012 but I have a note to help me remember.

I have a folder on my computer for each magazine and checked it tonight. I'm currently getting 37 magazines and almost all of them are freebies or $2/year. And there are 21 magazines in my EXPIRED folder that I was getting until recently and didnt see about renewing.

Have I ever said how much I love this forum?
