hi there,

since we live in middletown, it's hard to decide wether driving up to allentown/pa (dorney park) or washington (six flags).
we haven't been at these before, so maybe I can get some recommendations, which one would be the better pick for us.
we thought of going just for a day.

our children are 7, 9 and 13 and love the water sections too

we have been to hershey and liked it a lot !

thanks in advance !

We have season passes to Six Flags and like it a lot. You can get a season pass for the same price as a one day admission. You can then go to any Six Flags.

I have not been to Dorney in a long time, but I liked it a lot when I did go years ago. I think it is cheaper too.

Most people in New Castle County go to the Six Flags in New Jersey, so I can't tell you about the Washington D.C. one.

However, providing that they both are alike, I would tell you that Dorney Park is better for your needs. The kids are still semi-young, and most won't be able to enjoy the fruit of Six Flags, which are the bigger/scarier rides which have height restrictions.

Dorney is nice in that it has more rides they'll get on, and that it has a great water park. The water park also has a cool wave pool where all the kids congregate.

When they get older, I'd take them to six flags.
