Thanks Delaware for reinforcing my belief that the Northeast is the most enlightened region of the country.

I'm not sure if thats the case across the country, Rand Paul questioned civil rights and he won. I don't have a problem going against my party to vote for the person who I think represents me the best. Even though I didn't vote for O'donnell, I couldn't vote for Coons either.

I'm sure O'donnell will be ok though.

Not that it matters now since the election is over and she lost big, but the fact she couldn't meet a simple deadline pretty much sums up her entire campaign. Incompetent.

I am an outsider, but glad the folks of Delaware did the right thing. For those who love O'Donnell, I'm sure she will be back for her fourth consecutive run at the Senate seat in 2012.
