The ESPN2 production/broadcast trucks will be pulling into the parking lots at Delaware Stadium this week. The #3 seed University of Delaware Football Fightin' Blue Hens game against the University of New Hampshire will be broadcast nationally at 8pm this Friday night.

And with a win the trucks will stay put to broadcast the semi-finals game the following week. Come on out and support this special team. "Dare to be a Blue Hen"

Congratulations to St Marks. I expect Middletown and Sallies to be back next year.

The worst thing about these playoff games, is... football season is almost over

James, good luck with the shoulder.

Football is almost over and it stinks, but we (I) have college basketball. I luv me some college basketball, I started watching the girls last year with our resident superstar former #1 player in the nation Elena Delle Donne, and I grew up watching the nations best boys college teams.

Thanks rdlr, my shoulder will be good as new when the weather warms up .

I was sad to see Al Lavan get fired from Delaware State, I think he has that program on the right track, and he won't be able to see his efforts in recruiting all the way through. I mean who doesn't want an instate rivalry.?

Give me college/high sports, any day! DelleDonne is pure poetry in motion, and she really sparked my interest in basketball. Yes, we have much more to look forward to in the way of local sports.

Any idea who the new DSU football coach will be?

I'm not sure who they're looking at for the new coach, but Lavans firing was not expected so maybe they have someone in mind. How great was it back in I think '09 when they got to play in Michigan. What an experience that must have been. I hope whoever it is that they continue to improve the program.

Nationwide exposure on ESPN2. This was considered the prime slot and ESPN chose to move the UD-UNH (over three other games) into the prime time coverage slot. A proud statement about the program. Delaware should be proud.

I bet there's lots of hype on campus. Working at UD for a few years was a really fun experience for me, especially during football season.... Which reminds me.....When I read on here remarks about the drive from Dover to Newark/Wilmington every day, I smile. I did it every day and took Rt. 13 North, Rt. 896 through Townsend, Middletown, Glasgow and in to Newark. There was no SR 1 then, to breeze up going 65 mph.

I wonder if tickets are sold out ??? and I wonder if the weather will be cold and windy ???
