Here in NY, Cablevision has those little increases every 3-4 months as well. I hate getting nickle-and-dimed like that.

Fios is available here in our town. I've talked with 3 different representatives, and have been quoted 3 different "start up" prices and have been told that the prices will go up within 1-2 years. Also, I've been told by them "hurry, hurry, this quote is for today and tomorrow". I've asked to be called back when they had answers to my other questions. No return calls.

I think I'm giving up and going back to the stone age antenna, especially since our t.v. viewing interests are limited to news and sports.

I was a Verizon customer for 43 years, dating back to when they were New York Telephone and I had my first phone as a teenager. My last two years with them were plagued with horrible service and incredibly bad billing. I dumped them and went Triple Play with Cablevision. I don't plan on considering Fios when I move in.

There was nothing wrong with that old stone age antenna, the fuzzy reception and the seven channels available back then. Now there is cable and satellite, crystal clear picture, seven hundred channels, and still not much worth watching.
