I haven't even looked outside yet, don't say 4 inches already!!! Good grief. My first day back at work is tomorrow, yippee. My guess is schools will be closed. I'm surprised they aren't closed yet.

Not thrilled with schools being closed today in Appo! They've been closed since Wednesday for PT conferences/teacher workday/Presidents' Day. My son is thrilled, but I'm kind of ready for him to go back! I've got my fingers crossed that this is IT for this year!

This better be "it"! Our roads have been plowed and most of our neighbors are shoveled out and off to work. I would guess they couldn't clear school lots in time since school is closed for Appo.....again. Too bad they couldn't have just had a delayed opening. Add another day to the end of the school year!

momonthemove, thats so true. 2 hours of delay should have done it. my kids were only off friday and monday, so it's ok. to you it must be like another week of winter break .
would not be a problem, but now it is getting harder to make plans/doing bookings for the beginning of summer. hopefully they don't add a lot of days. my experience is, that they don't really do anything over the last days.

well, at least it's sunny today. my kids just went to superG on their own, getting groceries and are preparing dinner for mom and dad tonight. that's one of the positive sides

Good for you queen, you must have raised some nice kids. The PA schools right across the line were on a 2 hour delay. How are the bus routes in Appo? In the Brandywine School District, the bus routes changed this year so the buses would no longer drive into developments, just to a common area on a main road. I wasn't sure if thats statewide.
I think it helped this year since the developments don't usually get plowed to quickly.

Where we live in the Appo school district, our bus goes through the neighborhood (not on our block, though, for kindy or elementary, which irritates me since the middle school bus does, but that's a gripe for another day ). Our development is the only route for that bus, though.
