Any one from around philly have a beach house in delaware? I grew up going to wildwood but that is too much now. I have a budget of 175k prefer 150 or lower.
Its a shame jersey is what it is. But delaware is the place to BUY NOW in a few years these cheap houses will be gone.

175k isn't going to get you a "beach house" where you're within walking distance of the beach. You might find some stuff within 5 miles driving distance, but given the summer traffic in that part of Delaware, that drive will end up taking a while.

So funny.. we in Wilmington went to both Wildwood and Dewey in the summers.

Most people in Delaware paid less than a similar house in New Jersey. Hope everything works out.

Agree--that price range will get you a trailer or maybe a older home in need of expensive repairs. Good luck....

There are some condo and townhouse units for sale within your price range a couple blocks from the ocean, but no single family detached houses.

Poster asked for $175,000 or lower.
There's one for sale in Queenanne Pier, Lewes for $175,000, 2 blocks from Lewes Beach. There are some in Sea Colony in Bethany Beach for $139,900 and up, 3 blocks from beach. A Realtor can be a big help in finding those. I'm not one.

The OP prefers under $150,000 he or she says, anyway the real estate market is more in the tank than I thought it was, oh boy!
