Oh no wonder I didn't know anything about it. When we travel north , we used route 1.

I was born in DE and I still live here. I've complained plenty, but when you really consider all the +'s and -'s it's not that bad. There's NEVER any natural disasters. The job market here is always booming. Also, "the valley" is like a secret highway for citizens only. It gets you where you want fast and traffic-free. Delaware is a short drive from Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, and the beach. Probably one of the few states that has a short drive both to the ski slopes and the beach. As for the farming, I agree. My family is rooted in farming. We don't have any farms here anymore but still keep some in VA and PA (mom and dad's side of the family respectively)

I feel this way too Dylan. You know there is no perfect place. Just have to weight the pros and cons and take it from there.

I love the fact we are only 35 mins from the beach. No much traffic on the back roads and so far no natural disasters. Lets just keep our fingers crossed.
The say DE will be under water some day.......But...who knows. They also so NYC will be hit by a disasterous hurricane and be destroyed. Who knows about that too.

on a lighter note......De is sales tax free. That is a big plus.
