nope, not really, at least not everywhere. we will be living on 2300 ft - and will be dealing with pretty much the same heat as we do here, but more cool down at night.
our zipcode will be 28803 - just checked .. right now I would rather have NC weather

I am REALLY hoping for some rain soon, some grass around here already looks burnt - and june just started !!

I agree but if the air is better, the water is better, less superfund sites and tens of thousands of people moved to North Carolina
in the past 15 years, I guess she can deal with the heat. Not that queen needs me to defend her.

My students had a b-b-q outside today, and they kept asking to come in after they had their hot dogs, chips, and water ice. Thank goodness we had a nice breeze in western Sussex today while I was at work. Tomorrow it's supposed to reach 100 degrees; thank goodness we have air conditioning in our classroom.

You know, it's amazing that Delaware summers are often more brutal than south Florida summers. I can remember it being cooler down there on many occasions when we have visited in July and August. However, the duration of 90+ temps is much longer--around five months down there compared to about three here. Yuck. Anything above 85 aggravates me.
