Anybody know some good steak spots?

I just got back from Claymont Steak shop, and had one of the most mediocre steaks I've ever had in my life. I must be out of the loop because I've been out of Delaware for a while.

I could only figure Yatz and Casapulla.. what am I missing?

What are your favorite spots?

I find Casapulla's to be just OK and they are about the best in the Newark area... so sad

Slack's makes good steaks as well, come to think about it... they're on Concord Pike.

Forgot about Slack's...they aren't bad at all

Claymont has just been so-so for me and the one in Newark doesn't hold a candle to the original IMHO

I will also say Ciao in Trolley Sq. makes an OK steak sandwich but their pizza is better than anything else they have there

Goodfellas in Prices Corner has the capacity to make a good cheesesteak. The problem is, that they use sliced onions for the steaks, which is like eating worms or strings in your sandwich. I've tried to drop some hints over the years by requesting actual diced onions on the steak, but they haven't picked it up yet.

For a very high-end cheese-steak, they've a very tasty one at Columbus Inn.

I'm sure it's good, but without the grease running down the arm....it's just not the same. Which reminds me.....try one at the Delaware State Fair.
