Hi, everyone

We are searching rental apartments in Delaware due to my husband's job relocation. We are interested in the one called top of the hill apt, locates on 2101 prior road,wilmington,19809. I think it belongs to New castle county.

Does anyone lived there before may give us some idea about the safety condition in this area and this apt? I know there was a bit car break-into problem in 2009, after that, all safe. We kind of like the environment there, but a bit worried about it closes to claymont. I have checked the New castle crime map and crimial index, looks fine. But still needs more information and help. coz we like the apt itself.

Default It's Fine

Top of the Hill, and the surrounding area is fine. You're not going to live anywhere in New Castle County without the risk of minor property crime and auto break ins. There's a nice park (Bellevue State Park) right around the corner that does fun outdoor concerts and has community

Thanx!

Sounds like NC county is not that safe

We checked Greenville area, very nice, but only 1 apt, and utility is not included, which is a big concern for us.

As with any area, there are safe spots and non-safe spots. I have lived in New Castle County for 50+ years and have not been the victim of any personal crimes and I think the most property damage-wise was a turfing and mailbox smashing.
