Yep, no Sea Witch Festival Parade. But we had a wonderful day, anyway. This is my favorite time of year at Rehoboth Beach - rain, wind, waves, blustery, and just a very few people.

No snow where I was, in Kent and Sussex County on Saturday. Just some rain and a little wind. I believe New Castle County got a touch of snow.

I went to skyscrapercity.com and am having a problem finding my way to the Delaware photos. Can someone help me with this/direct me? Thanks.

Sorry, brava4 - I don't know my way around that site.

Autumn here in the Dover area today is lovely - bright sun and blue skies! Leaves on our trees are still green, except for a very few just starting to turn yellow. It's really beautiful here - good day to walk along Brecknock Park Nature Trail and look for lizards, snakes, turtles and unknown creatures! The unknown creatures are, teenagers working at the Camden end of the Park, which is a spooky trail open every night. I haven't been through that, but heard it was great! Tonight is the last night it's open.

It IS a beautiful day out, rdlr!! Luckily, we didn't have any snow here yesterday. I'm not quite ready for that given we have had such a beautiful fall this year. I want ONE more month of fall temps and beauty before winter settles in.

I just returned from the First Annual Wags, Witches, and Warlocks event in Bethany Beach. I just couldn't stop smiling after seeing all those dogs, adults, and children dressed up in costumes parading down the boardwalk!! I took many pictures and so many people were more than willing to smile for my camera and/or let me take a pic of their pooch. This event was a wonderful idea, and there was quite a turnout as well. I hope they have it again next year. It made up for the rained out Sea Witch parade, and I didn't even have to battle any traffic to see this festivity .

Very few people around makes for great quiet walks along the bay with our dogs.

Good Times for all of us here, I see!

I did the Brecknock Nature Trail Walk, as I hoped to. Talk about being "in touch with nature" !!! There were just a few crunchy leaves under foot, and it was so quiet, except for the big bull frogs splashing into the water as I approached.

Then I drove out to Loblolly Acres near Woodside and checked out their Christmas Trees! I know, but it was a good day for it. It's the tag it, pay, and come back whenever you're ready for them to cut it. But I forgot the trees, and got side tracked watching the straw rides. Lots of adults were on those wagons, and all locals I know! Loblolly has a very quaint Christmas gift and decoration shop in an old barn. It was just that kind of day!

Middletown didn't get much more than rain/sleet... I ran a 5k on Sunday in Wilmington and boy was it cold! At least it was sunny. I was happy the race wasn't on Saturday!
