I heard there was a white deer at this park, and now I know this is true. Here is a link I found about the deer:

I visited Brandywine Creek State Park yesterday after touring Winterthur. Gosh, it's only been 25 years or so. We arrived around 3:30 and really didn't have much time to explore. I would like to hike the trails there though--they look rather enticing!

Spent a couple days in Maryland at Catoctin Mountain Park and Gettysburg( raining too much to hike on Tuesday). Catoctin is a beautiful place with miles and miles of trails. Some are quite strenuous and some are easy to moderate. Hiking in New Castle county is about the closest thing to this that I have done.

Chimney Rock vista

Wolf Rock

This sign is not a joke. Rt 77 is almost straight down. lol

Yea - took those pictures on Christmas Eve. Hadn't been there in decades, so it was fun to return. When I was a kid, we would swim there (no longer permitted).

Went back to White Clay Creek yesterday and hiked the boundary line/charles bailey loop.
Finally saw the new bridge you mentioned, Legendof302.
