OK well, I am not a big expert.......sometimes it works just grand and other times.......I luck out. LOL
You have to put your pictures into a site like Photobucket........
That is who I use anyhow. Then you copy the very last line........the image line. So if you can have both sites up City-data and that site it becomes very easy. Paste that image line right onto the city data thread. You won't see the pictures until you preview. You'll see the img. code there.......then I write by going down a space or two. Then add the next copied image, and do the same before writing. In the end I preview.......
Photobucket has a an easy way it copies your pictures that are in your files.
Make sure the pictures you want are in your picture file first.....then use Photobucket. It will have a bar that says 'browse" and that will take you to your pictures. Then you choose what ones you want.
Hope this is a bit of help..........I'll have to go to Michigan and see your pictures soon..........Ah Yes, the Michigan thread, not taking a trip that way mind ya'...........

Do I LOVE Cape Henelopen?.........I just absolutely love that Park
We get together as much family as is possiable, and we head for Lewes and all the wonderful things to do.
Cape Henelopen is a dream of a place.
This year we spent a lot of time in Rehoboth........
I spent only 12.00 for tickets at the fun park. Do you know it was enough fun for TWO nights for TWO boys? I am not joking. The rides were so inexpensive. I know we have spent 5 times that for rides at the NJ shore.
The Outlets have stores that our Outlets don't have by me and so a few of those we head right to. We all have such a wonderful mellow time down that way.
One of the cutest things ( and I didn't have my camera) was the huge Chess board that is on the Rehoboth Main St. One of the boys decided to play.
We sat on benches as he walked the pieces to their places. He had help from two fathers sitting on benches near by. It was so interesting to see them help him........and to watch the game unfold.
I like Delaware, and the people of Delaware.......Happy Anniversary ElizaM!

Hey, Summering....Hi ya, neighbor!

That is Rehoboth off season, right? Were you down recently?

We were down in Bethany for a week in mid September. I was amazed at how many people were walking around in town. It was a Saturday night that we went in town though. Weekenders were there.

And the traffic!?! Even a few years ago things were much slower after Labor Day. We went down to a crab house in Fenwick, and they were busy. Of course, the crabs were huge and heavy. Maybe that's the reason. Yummmmm!

Right now I'm sitting here looking at the leaves beginning to change. There are four deer and six wild turkeys playing in the front yard. Sigh. The beach and the mountains. Each good for the soul.

I could of given you some blue crabs the boys caught.......beauties.......but, I don't eat crabs....or anything I see with legs crawling........
LOLOLOLOL...........

HEY Neighbor, Thats the fastest someone every has written back.........
You know what week I was there? Think of the worst week of the summer the ONLY,ONLY week it rained......YES, thats when I was there. Aug 20th week..............LOL.
But, the kids went crabbing at Angola Bay, and it wasn't a downpour.......so we got to the beach everyday.
Thats whats great about having the Fun Park, if it is a bad day they can have a place to go to anyhow.
Yes, here I am back in the Mountains.........I must say our first home in Pa gave me more dear then here. I use to have one I could call over to me from far away, and she'd come and have some apples, or bread. Herds would run through our back yard. Along with a few bear.........One HUGE one.
Now, I am hearing a rooster in the morning and one horse naying...........
But, I do love it here very much.
Are you getting wood ready........I have to get some.
Yes, Delaware is wonderful and Pa is too.........I need a few homes, one here and one there, and there, and there.....

You know what .........compared to NJ beaches which I do love, but which are getting overly priced.......the Delaware beaches are a dream.
The rentals are reasonable, the beaches FREE ( Seaside NJ here that!)
Parking is not 15 dollars for the day......Rides are not costly for the kids.
Its calmer, peaceful ( most places) .......
The cobblestone area in Rehoboth is charming. The restaurants fantastic.
Just a great place to visit.
Prices up after 10 years? Most likely........but still worth the trip.
Now I better get back to my own state before they disown me.....

Best time to visit/stay is September 15 to November 1. No parking meters, discounts and sales, etc. less crowd, temperature of ocean warmer than May.

The boards are really wonderful during the off season, where I often enjoy brisk walks (and Slaughter Beach is one of my favorites, too). That's the beauty of being a self employed local I travel the State almost daily, and know the best places to "hide". And with cell phones, anybody needing me doesn't know I'm actually on the boardwalk at
Rehoboth! Yes, prices are through the roof, but there are quite a few properties for sale........if you have the money and/or want to pay, big.

Hi Delly,

I am a registered nurse looking to settle and work in the Lewes area. I would like to buy a resonably priced home, say no more than $300,000. Do you have any suggestions? I have two dogs so would need a home with at least half an acre.....or at least close enough to the beach to exercise them!

Hi Sab,
A 1/2 acre lot, house close to the beach, is hard to come by for that price. $300,000 will buy you a townhouse of your choice, close to the beach. There are a few $300 houses on less than 1/4 acre, farther from the beach....(2-4 miles) or so. At least that's what I've seen. A local Realtor may be of help to you.

Default OCTOBER 2008 Rehoboth beach update

Hi!
I am a new member, work (Realtor/painter/decorator)and play in Rehoboth and would like to update on gas, downtown etc.
Gas nearby today is $2.63!! Finally!
Downtown is finished and user friendly, the Breakwater Junction Hike and Bike trail is open from Lewes to Rehoboth and just had the Jazz Festival and Greyhounds at the Beach. Sea Witch, Punkin Chunkin and Film Festival coming, Lewes will have a fun Christmas Parade in December.
We are year round and it is always a great place to be. Restaurants are still open, at least 10 new this year.
Come for a visit stay for a lifetime!
