So my daughter has to stay in shape while in Delaware for the summer b/c she is on a track scholarship at home and needs to work out. When she got down here, she did check in to the new 24/7 gym at the Rehoboth mall. She was told she needs to have a Delaware ID to be a monthly member there. We own a home in Delaware, pay taxes, but they wont let her join!! BUMMER FOR THIS GYM. Her 9.99/a month is the same as everyone else's. Very upset about this "new gym" and their guidelines.............off to the track to run w/ no weightlifting..........thank god Cape Hen allows outsiders to run on their track!

Oh wow...I didn't realize this. Sorry to hear about this situation. Maybe they will eventually change their policy. The YMCA is available and I know they offer discounted rates for college students. Hope this helps...

Be careful with the $9.99/month gyms. They say there's no contract, but you have to give them 30 days notice before a certain date, and only the manager can handle that, who's typically not easy to catch up with. No contract? That's not so. These days, there's always a "catch"

The Y in Rehoboth is really inadequate. It's the worst Y in the state AFAIK. One or more new YMCA facilities in Sussex Co. is desperately needed.

Right, and like i sd, she HAS to stay in Tip Top Shape and we are now face w/ no gym, only running at the HS. VERY VERY disappointed in the gym! False advertisement. As I sd, My 9.99 / mo is the same as every one else's.?
