Come down and look may sound rude. it is not my intention. There are some apartment complexes in nice zip codes and close to whatever that I surely would not feel comfortable living or raising kids in.

Are you alone? or with your family. August is totally a wrong month for relocating due to the highest peak of the summer tourist period. But I can give you a secret tip if you would answer to my question.

Default relocating

Hi Amerideaf......just curious by your screen name, are you Deaf? I just accepted a job at the Delaware School for the Deaf but my area will be in Sussex county. Is there a deaf community down in this area? That would be awesome as well. Need to continue my ASL skills.....

To the other posters, I am moving alone, need a 1-2 bedroom and every complex I have called is full or taken. Private rentals are expensive. I'd like to stay around the 900.00 price range. I realize this is a bad time to rent but thats the way the job went so......please help!!!

Presently, the two large deaf beach communities are located in Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island along Route No. 24. More deafies are in Ocean City, Maryland. Many DSD workers are going to Delaware coast towns for their pleasures.

Since you are alone, go to any Realtor in the area of Rehoboth Beach/Lewes for winter rentals (from mid-Sept to mid-May) or hit Craigslist. (I moved to Washington state last March for a new job, but I still have a storage in the Rehoboth/Lewes area.)

The Deaf Chat is held in the Salisbury Mall [MD] on third Friday from September to May except December.
