I'm still alive.

Between volunteering at my son's business for a few days and managing a problem that has caused the failure of my website and email, (this is day five of this outage for about 150,000 of us and I'm not happy) there has been no time to really post - though I am reading everything on the fly.

Welcome to Delly and our other new members, Always good to see the group grow!

I hope to be back and contributing on a regular basis soon. Y'all take care!

Charley

Oh charley...........Sorry to hear of your troubles. Hope things get straightened out real soon.
I'm assuming power outages are from the storm last weekend?

We shall wait for your return hopefully soon.

No, not a power outage. About 150,000 domain names, including my www.qflea.com were hosted on Alabanza servers. Navisite bought Alabanza and decided to migrate all the sites and email accounts to their new data center. They screwed it up. We went down Friday night and didn't come back until noon today. So I have five days of emails waiting to roll in and that should keep me off the streets for a while.

Charley

P.S. I never had a down day while on Alabanza servers. Oh well.

Hey Charley,

Congrats to your daughter on completing the NYC marathon in a good time!
Wow! I can't run around the block without oxygen. Glad to see you're back and sorry about you server/domain problems. Hope they're fixed quickly.

Thanks. We're getting there. Website is back and seems to be fully-functional. E-mail is still a little strange, but I have THE best web host in the world and she is working with me on figuring out what's happening here.

My countdown has started by the way ... 50 days until I visit Delaware again!

Charley

Charley,

My daughter also ran in the marathon on Sunday. I know what you mean, I was on the couch most of the day on Monday as if I had run it!!!! (I honestly think we walked about 26 miles haha). Haven't been posting lately, but have been reading. Thanks again for all the info.

Judy

Charley........I dont' understand all that technical stuff but have an idea what you are talking about.

Maybe the problem is because they just bought them out. Things can get kind of crazy when a new business is started or added on. Hopefully when they get this straight, their act will be together.

Good luck with all those emails. I know what that is although most of mine is junk.
I have no idea where they get my name. And I have two accounts so each one every day I delete most of them.

Charley,

She did well, 5:29 was her time.
Don't know if we will be back to check out Nobles Pond before you, but will get back there in the Spring. Keep me posted. Everytime we get that tax bill (here in central jersey) I want to scream!!
