Hey, rossc! There you are. I thought maybe you had headed south already.
Guys, don't forget about Cool Springs...especially if you like seafood. They have one of the best venues in the Dover area. Here's a link:
Restaurant and Grill with Great Seafood. Dover, Delaware - Location
I still vote that Pigs has the best salads.
Two of the Mexican places burned. One was totally gone when we went past three weeks ago. That one was on the right as you go south on Bay Rd.....just just north of the Value City shopping area. The other one was just north and on the right as you travel north. It has been rebuilt, but it didn't appear to be open yet. Maybe it is now.

Two weeks is good but could we make it a thurs this time. I will be in Philly that Tues.
It doesnt' matter one iota where we go. Hollywood diner is good. sort of Greek. We ate there once.
I think there is another diner up further on 13 too. Can't think of the name of it. okay.........Hope Thurs is okay with everyone.

Thursday in 2 weeks is good for me... that'd be the 18th, right? Like I said, I'm tied up on the morning of the 17th, but otherwise, unless the boys are out of school, I'm free.
I swear, the retired neighbors are going to think I have a boyfriend!

Rockky,
We are stuck on Mexican... neither of us are seafood fans. Hubby is though, so I'll keep the reference. I know about the new location on the one... and you're right, its not open yet. I was up that way yesterday, and they are still working on it.
I'll keep looking for the references... that is our plan for Monday's lunch so we still have time for posters! Thanks all!

I just passed this place today. So it is really good, huh? My hubby loves seafood and today is his B day so we will eat out tonight.
Will let you know what I think.

Go for it, eliza!!! It's very different than most places in the Dover area.
Just make sure the birthday boy is relaxed and taking his time. That must have been a frightening and stressful experience for you both. I'm glad things turned out well.
Gotta run...off to PT. Just got my EOBs from the insurance company. Some paid directly....doctor totally denied. sigh

Eliza,
Make sure Bill orders the soup of the day without any chunks - broth sounds about right.
Happy birthday Bill!!
Question - Why does it seem to me that rossc, Charley and I are the only males doing the posting. You gals are all over the forum.
