So did anyone make it to this illustrious event? Sounded like big fun.... but we had to go further south this weekend! I'll have to check the local news website for pictures, etc. if no one posts!

D-I-L says there's a big craft fair/bazaar thing going on today in Harrington. We plan to go check it out after the Little One's soccer game this morning.

Punkin' Chunkin' was a great festival, for we rednecks, that is,
and this year was no exception. Someone mentioned buying pumpkins there....no-can-do, unless you go to Smith's Orchard Store a couple of miles away. The event consists of a competition, shooting pumpkins from homemade cannons, and the contestants come from many states. The event is near Bridgeville, and about a month ago, Bridgeville also featured the Apple Scrapple Festival. Live a little!

Sorry we missed it... and you too Delly! But we had to go a bit further south to visit with other rednecks in North Carolina. I did hear about the Apple Scrapple Festival... my dad is a big scrapple fan and would have loved that as well.
Will try to be in town next year for these big events! I agree... you only go around once, so you might as well make a big time of it!

Harrington Craft Fair
and this year was no exception. Someone mentioned buying pumpkins there....no-can-do, unless you go to Smith's Orchard Store a couple of miles away. The event consists of a competition, shooting pumpkins from homemade cannons, and the contestants come from many states. The event is near Bridgeville, and about a month ago, Bridgeville also featured the Apple Scrapple Festival. Live a little!
