It is kind of worrisome that people moving to our state don't think they could pass a written test.

Haha- I just stumbled on here and was thinking the same thing- Jeeze, I'm sure my state is more difficult and it takes me about four minutes to go through those dumb-azz, couldn't be more obvious questions- maybe miss one because I'm answering so quickly. Honestly if you can't even get through a ridiculously easy written test in the U.S you shouldn't be driving- they just about give away drivers licenses in this country unfortunately.

That's true. I studied for the Italian driver's license. There are about 400 potential questions. You have to study them all because the actual test is a random selection of 40 questions from the total 400, of which you can only miss up to 4 to pass. Miss 5 and you are out, and you have to wait to try again. I studied for the DE test (I can't really call it studying) and it was a no brainer. It would be hard to fail. I had the impression they were testing for the ability to interpret signs rather than demonstrate knowledge of the rules.

Good to know it's so easy, thanks ! It's been a LONG time since we took our driver's test and had no idea. Appreciate the info Arezzo.
