Can anyone tell me about Augustine Beach and Wildlife area? Worth a family trip? Do they rent boats and/or allow swimming?

It's not really a swimming beach. I don't believe they rent boats. There's a boat launch, and a lot of people seem to fish there. The beach is extremely rocky and really tiny. My kids like to go skip rocks there, and DH and DS go there with metal detectors but we don't live that far away. I personally wouldn't make a family trip out of it.
