Here ya' go, Charley: Fifer Orchards, Inc. :: Come to the Grower, where Fresh is Best!
Since I'm 5 minutes from there, I make daily runs for asparagus, strawberries, peaches, etc. when they are in season. Nothing like FRESH ! Then there's the Wyoming Peach Festival, which is a great event Fifer's takes part in, along with the Town of Wyoming, the first week of August. Even the mummers come to take part in the parade.

If you look at the photo of the building, you will (partially) see a wrap around covered porch, where they put their wooden crates of apples, pumpkins, etc. To the left, the porch wraps even further, and this year they constructed built in benches. That's so you can sit in the shade and eat their homemade ice cream! Oh, my...................

Get in the car and head on down, right now! No reservations needed, and you can sleep on our front porch and listen to the apple trees sprout, and strawberry plants bud! Actually, if we have a warm spell, you can get a wif of the cabbage leaves rotting!!! Of course, our old house trembles a little when the freight train comes past the old loading dock where our town exported produce many years ago. But, we're used to it!

Wow, Delly, you must not be far from where we live! We are only about 5 min from Fifer's as well! Hubby and I drove by there this past weekend... if we hit the lottery, we're going to make an offer the Fifer family CAN'T refuse! That would be my kind of living!
Charley... if Delly's front porch is too drafty this time of year, you and the bride are welcome at our house any time!

OK - so I know that I'll have Byler's, Fifers, Haans and more, but what about dairy products. Any dairies that also sell directly to the public for fresh eggs, milk, butter, etc?
