Will see what I can do about posting pics of events, movn2del. As I mentioned before, I usually photograph the people at the events; would be kinda hard getting permission to post, if ya know what I mean.

For those in the area, I just found out Milford is having a street festival "Bugs and Buds" on Saturday, April 26th. Sounds like a lot of fun, and the weather should be beautiful! I may take my boys down there, and will take more pictures of DE!

Mary

Look forward to seeing those pics mary Try to take some without people. Maybe you could take some ladybug pics of kids and get their parents permission on the spot. I would give permission, if my kids names weren't being used.

Welcome Lady Lou. I'm delighted that you've joined us here on the forum. We're always happy to hear from native Delawareans like you and Delly and the others who post here. I am always looking to learn more about the state in which I plan to enjoy my retirement.

Yes, there are a few individuals who wander through from time to time leaving some less than desirable information ... but for the most part we're a pretty positive bunch.

Hey, I didn't realize the posts that weren't pics were moved to this thread. I responded there. Perhaps whoever does the moving can move my response? Thanks. BTW, we are definitely moving to Delaware. We found the house last week, made an offer and everybody agreed! Will be there over the summer! All the work hubby and I did paid off. Now the work begins It will all be worth it. Delaware is beautiful.

Help!

I'm having a hard time following the messages. We've increased our numbers of posts each day, which I think is wonderful. The influx of new folks to our conversation is pheonominal! But we've started posting all kinds of things in all the threads and the actual topics have become somewhat muddled.

I've given up trying to read those multi-post/multi-response messages, but I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone about this Off-Topic thread where all kinds of conversation can be posted, regardless of the topic. This way, for example, the thread on grocery prices can really be all about grocery prices, etc. I read the board every day and if I'm getting confused, imagine the poor newbie who comes along and wonders what we're talking about.

We obviously love the state and have lots to say. I'd like us to try to say it all in the right places so that the people who follow us can love it too.

Thanks much everyone.

Charley
