visit to delaware
Hi all...just had my first visit to delaware this week. very nice. I wasn't all that thrilled with Rohobeth, seems like any other Jersey shore town but I loved further south - Bethany and Fenwick...so nice! I visited several communties - two I really liked. Bayside and The Peninsula...WOW! The Peninsula is beyond compare. I also heard about a project in the works called Milltown by the Sea (I think that's the name). Don't know if that will be FS or lease...anyone know? Sounds like a little city in itself. I will be ready to retire in about 4 yrs, so it will be interesting to see what else pops up.

Judy, The Peninsula is gorgeous, isn't it?!! I watched it take shape from the time they moved the first scoop of ground. I was also able to attend many of their promotional parties including the evening they had their grand house opening extravaganza.
The homes are fabulous. The only hitch I have is that, for the money, I'd personally rather be closer to the beach. But that's just me.

Love the house, Billfmbh (and movn2del)! And we've already discovered that we will be within 5 miles of you folks when we move to Woodside/Felton! Once we get it mapped, I'll ride one of the kids' bikes to your house... maybe stash my fishin' pole in your garage!
Do ya'll know how to make sweet tea? After that bike ride, I'll be mighty thirsty!
Mary
P.S. I'll have to remember you're the geek, Bill, we have too many computers that need attention... do you give a group rate for one location???

Let's see....hmmmm....sweet tea? Woul that be the opposite of unsweet tea? Here in NY we call it sweetened or unsweetened. To answer you question, we can make both. Ride a bike 5 miles. Not me, but have fun. I'll have the tea ready.

Charley/CMTAD is mending and sends Delaware his best.
Hello, all you folks in Delaware. CMTAD wanted you all to know that he is recovering at home - although not without some discomfort!
He is able to use his laptop in bed, but is pretty uncomfortable and asked to have his message passed on to you all. He likes you folks quite a bit, me thinks.
We all wish him the best and a speedy recovery.

Through the magic of a laptop, a vnc connection - whatever that is - and my son, my office computer now appears on this laptop so now I can lay in bed and watch the monitor. Typing is difficult but HELLLLOOOOOOO everybody.
The pain when lying down or standing up is manageable. The pain transferring from bed to a standing position or visa versa is unbearable. Tomorrow, my wife goes back to work and I am on my own. Good luck to me.
Thank you all for your support and your kind words. I appreciate everything very much. If someone would be so kind as to pass my message along to Karla's exercise thread and to the off-topic thread in Delaware, I'd appreciate that. This too so long to type that I don't really think I could do it again for a while. Thanks so much
Charley

One more thing I think it's so much harder to break up with your hairdresser. They actually call you to see where you've been. If you try someone new you feel like your cheating, and your hairdresser KNOWS that cut was done by someone else even if it's been months.

Oh I miss my hairdresser. Have not found anyone I am completely satisfied with yet.
If anyone has any suggestions for the dover area, feel free to share!
