Thanks for the info on the spyware/adware.....good info. I have downloaded tool bars much to my hubby's dismay and he had a heck of a time removing them.

Carole and Elizamary, do please post here if you find bay beaches good for swimming. I'd be embarrassed, and so would most of my friends, because we have not found this to be so in decades of living in Delaware. But it would certainly be good to know! Especially since it takes an hour from our part of Dover to get to Rehoboth, and longer to go to the wonderful beaches and beautiful dunes south of Dewey Beach.

Billfmbh, an early welcome to you and your wife! I'm afraid I don't keep up with much that's happening on the forum, not for lack of interest, but rather for lack of time. I do try, and hope your move goes as smoothly as possible.

rdlr, party on!

Hi Annieblue,
Oh I don't plan to swim at Bowers. I'm funny about the water. Like I said before, I did not care for bowers. (no offense to anyone just a preference).
But I have talked to a few people that do use it in the summer with the grand kids. ??
Guess it is just a matter of preference. Would I use it? No. I dont' even go walking on that beach.
Now Slaughter, only been there once but it looks nicer? Just from a one time observation.

Annie, that is why we are checking out the beaches...... which is to find one close when one does not feel like driving in the traffic to CapeH or Rehoboth. We all know that the best starts in Lewes and goes south. There are 3 that I want to check out: Broadkill, Fowler, and Slaughter. Hopefully I'll be able to do that Friday if all goes like I plan. Perhaps later, Woodland Beach, but that is north.

So far, Bower's Beach - good only for taking the doggies to the beach and/or just sitting in a chair relaxing on the beach and watching sunrise or sunset....swimming or wading is definitely out and I could change my mind about the chair.........LOL.....

Thanks for the Smiley reminder, Bill! Not a good memory, I might add. They corrupted my whole system in 1988, adding tags, tracers, and cookies, some laced with viruses. Eventually, it crashed, which was probably a good thing. I even found that people sending e-mails to me with those things attached may have affected my system.

By the way, Bill......what should I do with old computers? Take the hard drives out, I guess.....then, what? I have 4 in the basement.

Pickering Beach, Kitts Hummock, North Bowers, South Bowers, Slaughter Beach, Fowlers Beach, Big Stone Beach, Bennetts Pier, Primehook or Shorts Beach, Broadkill, Old Inlet Beach....and more....There are so many 'secret' places to explore.

I visit one, or more, of each of those on a weekly basis. They are all charming places. The wildlife areas surrounding those communities are really something to see. Pictures don't do it justice.
