Hi All,

I am moving to Wilmington from INDIA on February 2014..
I am moving there for upto 6 Months and will be working in 802, Delaware Avenue, Wilmington, 19801.

I am looking forward for the below information
i) What"s the safest locality in wilmington to stay?which is closer to the work place.

ii) Hows the public transportation in Wilmington?
iii)Is staying in philadelphia and commuting to Wilmington a better option?

we lived in Bear Delaware and my hudband commuted to Philly for work my advice don't do it! On a good day it would take an hour and a half...on Fridays during summer, if it rains or if there is an accident it can be longer than 3 hrs one way! you may want to look in North Wilmington it is closer to the area you wikl be working in and is a safer more residential area...public transportation there are buses.

If you are going to be working on Delaware Avenue, I would suggest either Trolley Square or Little Italy. Both would be in walking distance. You do need to do your research on LI, but TS and the area around it would probably be my choice.
