I live in Newark, and I know for a fact that everyone up here in new castle county roots for the philly pro teams. I'm pretty sure kent county follows suit. do some people in sussex county root for washington or baltimore teams, or is still all philly teams?

My husband is born/raised Sussex Countian and roots for the Ravens. Other people we know (from down here) like the Cowboys or the Redskins. I don't know of any local southern Delmarva people who root for any Philly or Pittsburg teams. Me? I'll catch a Shorebirds game every now and then, but that's about as much interest as I have in sports .

We were born and raised here, in Kent County, and are senior citizens. We are Ravens' supporters, before that the Colts. We follow the Redskins, Washington Nationals, and like Liz.....we support the Shorebirds, not the Delaware Blue Rocks. No Phillies or Eagles for us, nor for anybody we associate with.

I would assume most people in Kent County are Philadelphia sports fans. Kent County is technically part of the Philly sports market. Also the Dover International Speedway is basically de facto for "Philly Area Nascar".

Yeah most people (80% I'd guess) born in Kent County are Philly fans. It's damn near unanimous in NCC.

Keep calculating. A 19% drop in guessing, already. Don't bother asking us born and raised here in Kent County. Most natives of Kent County, I know, distance themselves from 'anything' Philly.
