Greetings!

So we moved in and are in the middle of transferring licenses and all that. A few months ago our windshield was chipped by a stone on 95 and we had it repaired (but not replaced). There is still a mark but its in the lower corner on the passenger side. Will it pass DE inspection?

Thanks!

TP

I don't know why not if it's been repaired and it doesn't obstruct the driver's view.

You shouldn't have any problem passing DE inspection with a repaired chipped windshield--have had a few chips fixed before and my cars passed inspection without any problem or even a second glance.

++1
As long as it isn't in the line of sight of the driver, or at least that's how it used to be.

Awesome! I went last night just to do my license (and do inspection/registration if time permitted) but it was really mobbed.. I'm probably going to go early one morning next week and try to beat the crowd. In general is it smart to show early (7:30 or so) to get a head start?

I go to the Georgetown facility. I get there about 8:30 am and have no hold ups. I have gotten though inspection and purchasing renewal in 15 minutes or less. Having been held up once at the drive in window I go inside.

Are any of the offices open on Saturday? Also, are there places for private inspection or are you required to go to DMV for inspection?
