Best news I've read in a long time! I was beginning to think we had lost this honor, since our state is becoming so crowded. We remain 1st in agricultural land use, at 41%....
45% Sussex, 46% Kent, and 24% New Castle.

Sussex County remains the No. 1 broiler chicken-producing county in the nation, a position that dates back to the 1940s.

Delaware remains first in key agricultural categories, Census shows - State of Delaware News

The next time somebody wants information on Delaware, I will be sure to send them this link first!

Good afternoon, Nuts!
Pass the word on the census data released on our agricultural state. We'll welcome only our fully informed friends, and close the gates!

Delaware is an awesome state. BTW - it has the largest contribution to GDP per capita. I bet it's mostly due to the heavy agriculture in the state.
