I live in sw Atlanta right now. I have been here for 4 mos and I HATE it. I am considering moving to Delaware. can someone please tell me which is the better neighborhood, is it safe and a big city. Atlanta is ghetto to put it bluntly! I am disabled, but still vibrant and young. I am from Brooklyn, but wanted to taste Atlanta......BAD CHOICE!

Dela-where? This state has many different towns and communities. There are no big cities here, although the northern part of the state (northern New Castle County) involves a great deal of suburban sprawl. There are some shooty bits within the city limits of Wilmington itself, though the suburbs are largely quite safe. What are you looking for in a place to live?

I think you need to do your homework before moving again. Atlanta is a big place but 4 months is hardly enough of a chance. Perhaps it is just the area you selected. You don't say the nature of your disability but I would look into those services in any area you consider for the future. Is employment a concern? Socialization, Transportation, Check into these also. There are really no big cities as doctorjef stated in De. as compared to Atlanta.
