Where are you located? I know a few places but they may be too far for you.

I don't know, for sure, if these places have fall plants.....but the only places I know that might, are:

Peppers, in Milton
Ronny's Garden World, Smyrna
Willy Farm, Townsend (but on Rt. 13)

You took the thought right out of my head with another one to add.

East Coast Nursery in Millsboro.

I would start with a call to Peppers. They usually have things no one else does.

Thanks I’m going to Milton today but will check the other places, too.

I just checked Pepper’s Facebook page and yes, they have vegetable plants. Thanks for the suggestion. I will stop there today.

It is an amazing place. Be prepared to be overwhelmed. They have so many interesting things and plants especially for the summer planting season. It is one of my favorite places to spend an hour wandering.

I stopped today and they have just what I need, plus I love their decorative garden items. I’ll clear out my garden then go back for my plants. On my way back today I stopped in Ellendale and got dinner to go at the Southern Grill food truck after getting ice cream at King’s in Milton. A good, but fattening day.

Thanks again for the good info.

Isn’t it amazing. It is like The Disneyland of garden centers to me.

Smile Ice cream

I wish I had known this sooner, but thought I would pass on to others even though it is now almost fall - on Fridays from around 5:30 till 7:30 pm, Felton Fire House, Route 12 in Felton, sells homemade ice cream in cones or bowls. They have approximately 12 flavors, and every one I have had has been excellent. They also sell 1/2 gallons.

Does anyone have experience with a company in Newark, (DE) called American Freight? They sell appliances and furniture?? I know nothing about them - in fact never heard of them. A friend is looking for appliances for a rental and she asked me if I had ever heard of them? She wanted to know if they are legit and reliable. Thanks in advance. The website looks pretty legit, so I said I would ask all of you.
