This is off-topic, but hey--my favorite apples are Fujis. They aren't very pretty, but oh, are they good....
OK, back to our regularly scheduled feature....

My fav places:
Pastabilities on Union St in Wilmington
Walter's Steakhouse on Union St In Wilmington
Harry's Savoy Grill near Claymont
There are plenty of others, but they top my list.

I'll give another A+ to Pastabilities. It's a charming little place!
What is the difference between the two Harry's? I've been to the one on the Riverfront in Wilmington. It was very nice...really packed.

^Zuppa D'Pesce - Seafood thing with Pasta basically.
Harry's Seafood Grill is brand new basically, Harry's Savoy has been there for decades.
Also, the best family Italian place is Madeline's on 6th and DuPont.
I've also heard that the Union City Grills is good.
Historically, Columbus Inn is the oldest food establishment in the city. It dates back to the 1700s I believe. They are located on Pennsylvania Ave.

I believe Columbus Inn closed down and will soon be condos. We always went for Easter buffet brunch -- loved it!

Jonalyn,
I tend to get restaurant coupons in the money mailer that comes to the house. Or the Clipper Magazine, or I just catch coupons in the newspaper. Also, check WDSD's website (they are a local country music station)... they have a thing called "Buyer's Club". As far as I know, the club is free, but deep discounts are available to purchase; supposed to be well worth the deal. May be similar to the restaurants.com, I'm not sure. I've only checked on that link once, months ago.

Way cool, Mary. I checked the WDSD site and just now they are offering a deal on a spa. Hmmmm....not in the market for that yet. They are doing one for the Pub Restaurant in a couple weeks, tho. Unfortunately, we'll be back home by then. I'll keep the site bookmarked, tho, for some good deals. I think D-I-L gets the Clipper Mag. We'll take a look in there, too. Jonalyn
