Nicola's pizza in Rehoboth Beach! They stay busy all year round and it's for a good reason. Try their Nicaboli you wont regret

I organize ladies lunch for my neighbors each month.

Last month we went to olive garden and they had a grrrrrrrrreat time. soup and salad with bread sticks hit the spot.
Next month, we will try lone star. I heard good raves.
Anyone want to share about lone star?

Can't answer that as we don't have them here (Long Horn is great though, similar atmosphere I think) - the other nite we went to Chili's and it was verrry nice - they have a deal going now - 2 dinners including your choice of appetizer (shared), 2 individual meals and a dessert (shared) for only $20 - similar to Applebee's which I also like but Applebee's doesn't include the dessert - they had a nice variety of choices too - anyway it might be worth checking out if you have one near you (and not all the meals are spicy, in fact most prob. aren't, I had a salad and my hubby had a burger), actually it was pretty filling and we hope to go back again soon (we have 3 near us, yikes!).

1. Peggy's in Greenwood for breakfast. The plate come piled high.
2. Lunch at E's on Main in Middletown. Not to be missed soup.
3. And what can be more Delaware than the crab cakes at Sambo's (Lipsic) or blue crabs at Boondocks (Smyrna) for dinner. Well maybe fried chicken could be more Delaware, but I still love crab season.
4. Dessert has to be ice cream from Woodside Creamery.

My hubby is from DE and every time we would visit we had to have a cheese steak(pizza steak for me) from Pizza Villa, Grotto's pizza(love their pepperoni stromboli) and nicaboli's at Nicola's. Thankfully we are finally moving to DE in two weeks. These places and my mil's table full of blue claws are the first places I plan on eating!

Lone Star is OK but I prefer Texas Roadhouse (Rt 40 and Rt 1) - check the hours though, they may not be open for lunch

Hi Phlydude,

Texas roadhouse is great.......one of my favorite places. Steak is always done perfect. Love it
But no.......not open for lunch.
Several of our residents have told me they were impressed with Lone star....I never have been.
So I'm going on a few recommendations.
If we don't like it........I won't back.
So far.......the recommendations I've gotten proved to be A okay.
We are retired seniors and looking for a good price too.
Thanks for you input.
Gotta get to the roadhouse soome. the mear mention is making me hungry.

And our TR is in Camden DE on rt 13 near the Wal mart.
They are all about the same
