I would recommend either Fred Funk or William Ward. You can't go wrong with either one. Good luck!

Thanks dch123. Have you dealt with either one before? How are their rates? Do they do a good job?

Yes, we have dealt with both MANY times! My hubby is a realtor and also flips houses - so we are buying and/or selling real estate several times a year. They are both really great guys and reasonably priced. William Ward is one of the top guys in the area - he teaches the law portion of the course that real estate trainees go through to get their license. We only started using Funk because he's closer to us and a little less expensive.
Good luck!

I only have a basis for what real estate lawyers charge for closing in New York. Can you give me an estimate for what that process costs in Delaware?

Thanks much.
Charley

Gary Dodge is a Real Estate Attorney in Dover, Delaware. I highly recommend him, from my past experiences. Each attorney has different fee schedules, so I would recommend calling a couple of attorneys. The attorney's assistant will provide you with an estimate of closing cost fees. Gary has also taught the real estate law portion of Delaware real estate licensing. His law practice is in the City of Dover.

What county are you moving to? If you're moving to Kent or Sussex, we usually use Walter Feindt.

I'm a mortgage loan officer, and we generally use him. And his fees are inexpensive!

I am moving into Bear. In any case, I have decided to go with Fred Funk. Thanks a lot for your help!
