Chaicken Farm SMELL & NOISE info PLEASE! CLUCK CLUCK

Yes the chicken smell is pretty bad. I live about 1 mile from 3 chicken houses and I can easily smell them when the wind is blowing in the right direction. Other than the smell the only other thing to consider is the resale value of the house. My guess is its already cheap due to its locale but if you guys arent happy here unloading it will likely be difficult due to the location. hth

Arkansas is the Chicken Capital of the World, huh? I could have sworn NC (especially down east) had the corner on that market! Who knows, maybe the last few seasons of hurricanes in the Carolinas have convinced the chicken farmers to go inland. Still plenty of houses dotting the NC countryside!

Whatever part of Arkansas that WalMart doesnt own, is owned by Tyson Chicken. Tyson is HUGE in Arkansas!

I totally agree with you about the resale and that's what we WERE(past tense) going to do in the next 3 years. I am staying CHICKEN FARM FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I have a friend who lives in Greenwood and there no a problem with chickens or anything, they live by the airport, but I did want you to know that cops are very strict about enforcing the speed everywhere there, I and friends have gotten tickets for merely driving 4 mph over the speed limit--which is 35 mph on Rt. 13 passing through Greenwood and 25 mph throughout downtown districts, I am from Seaford but have lived in Newark, DE for 7 years and I can't standing passing through there. This is probably not an issue with you but perhaps just a reminder to other people.
