Newport Area Delaware (Wilmington, Elsmere: townhomes, place to live, shopping center)

Thinking about moving from new castle to the newport area to Forest Brook Glen its a townhome near banning park we have a family and we both work my husband and I we really we like to know about the area because it is part of wilmington if any one knows about this area can you please give us a heads up before we put a down payment on this home.....THANK YOU ....

Forest Brook Glen is a real starter home (small townhomes). The area has really went down hill.

You may want to try more towards Stanton area or south of Newport (Pleasant Hill/ Silview area).

Richardson Park area is also an option, but I wouldn't go any further North. Then you will be inside the city of Wilmington.

The outskirts of Elsmere is also another option.

I live in this Niehborhood, serioulsy

i live in the main street of the nieghborhood ( not Main St., but the main road )

its a quiet and nice place to live
i have lived here in this place almost for 4 years its a good place to live and alot of areas to have fun. 1o min away from the Movie theather and shopping center and a couple minutes away from downtown Wilmington.
Theres also Banning Park a huge park 2 minutes away from the nieghborhood by car but you can walk there too.
