I had a couple of questions about New Castle County for those familiar with the area.
1) Is this county rural/suburban, or both? -If rural...how much in jeopardy is it...and really how could it be rural? -If suburban...how much is it growing? 2) What city does this county identify with more, PHI or BAL? -What is the split? -Does it vary by location, if so where? -Is it shifting to one? 3) Which sports teams does this area identify with most? -In the NFL, Eagles or Ravens? -In MLB, Orioles or Phillies? Thanks. |

#1 County is pretty congested and getting worse. More rural towards MD.
#2 PHI mostly, the news stations are PA-NJ area which ticks me off. I'd rather see MD news. #3 Eagles mostly, I'm however a Ravens fan. |

IMHO, New Castle County is a suburb of Philadelphia, not Baltimore. It's part of the tri-state area of SE PA, S Jersey, and N Delaware. I would even venture to say that more people commute to Philadelphia than Baltimore. It would only make sense for NCC to identify with Philadelphia.
Oh, and Go Eagles! |
