In case you did not understand the statement, the poster is stating that *some* of the registered sex
offenders did not molest or have sexual relations with young children. The sex offender at the age of 18
had sexual relations with consent from their partner who is/was 17 or within a couple years younger than
18 years old. The minor's parents found out pressed charges and now the 18 year old is required to
register as a sex offender.
No one said anything about any 5 year old being sexually abused.
And where did that poster get his info? From what I read it's 30 year old who sleeps with 17 and younger.

18yo sleeping with a 17 year old is not an offense in most states. Most states have a 3 year she gap allowance.

I got my info from young men who HAVE been registered because of the girls' parents (not liking them or whatever). ALL I WAS SAYING is that this group can skew the numbers.

Sweetie, you might need a reading comprehension course. I suggest you read posts CAREFULLY before going off the rails.

Where the poster got his information from does not appear to be your issue with his post.
Bottom line is you do not appear to understand the statement and amazingly enough *most* states do
*not* have a three year age gap *where did you get your information from*.
Also, those who have sex with a 17 year old is not limited to one particular age group and I would like to know *where you got your information from* regarding this statement you have posted as fact.
