I found quite a few in the Lewes-Rehoboth-Dewey Beach areas, because I have access to that information. I am not allowed to post that link here. Your best bet is to contact a Realtor; I'm not one.

Lewes, even more than Rehoboth, is a "gray" area..... Lots of retirees from mostly other states. Young people flock for a short time during the summer months, but they don't stay.

I am younger retiree, a tail end baby boomer. My advice to you is the housing is not going to be a problem. Neither is the food, there are so many restaurants here (not counting the fast food places) that it would take a year to visit each one between Dewey and Lewes. I am more concerned about the single ladies aspect for you. There are some for sure, but, that said, as much as I LOVE living here, it is not a place I would have been happy in at your age, unless I knew I wanted to stay single. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you. And housing is actually a problem with the 3 places I'm looking at. There is way more demand than supply it seems so it seems like its not going to work out.

Oh wow, I didn't realize the poster is only a few years younger than me. Unless you like 20-some-year-olds, the market for single women in the 30-40 something age bracket at the beach is pretty dismal. The good ones are married or they moved away given not many women move here for the unimpressive job market. Pretty much what is left are the crazy ones, the drunk ones, the ones that have been though the mill. Just being honest here, as most of the single women I know in the 30 and up age bracket around here definitely have some issues.

If you only want an apartment complex as opposed to say a condo, then I understand the problem. But I am having a hard time reading that housing is a problem. Perhaps, I missed something in what you were looking for, but there are plenty of rental units available. Especially on an annual basis.

Thanks for all your feedback. What is really motivating me is the money (I'm guessing almost 200k is a good salary in the area) and the fact I think I'm over DC. Yes, there are tons of singles in DC, but most people in the city want to be single so dating options leading to a long-term relationship in DC is rare. Overall, perhaps a move to Lewes would be good for me. Much lower cost of living and the potential to meet someone who would be interested in a long-term relationship.
