Default Philly to Wilmington--Relo help!

Hi,

I live in Center City, Philadelphia, and absolutely love it. My fiance lives in the suburbs of Wilmington and works in Wilmington, and due to housing costs and property taxes, we are looking to buy a place in Delaware. Can anyone help me?!?

I am looking to spend under $300k for a 3+ bedroom in a nice area that is accessible to a Septa station. Are there any parts of downtown Wilmington that are nice?

I have been looking at zip codes 19803, 19810, and 19805. Are these nice areas? Can anyone tell me about areas I should be focusing on? We don't have to worry about schools (yet) so right now we are just looking for a neighborhood where we will feel safe, where I can get to the train for work, and can make a decent investment.

Thanks!
