Hubby and I are looking to leave NJ (property taxes!!!!) and are considering DE, but we really are not that familiar with DE.
We'd like to be near Philly because we both work in that area (for now anyway), so I am thinking the Wilmington area might be nice. Can you recommend neighborhoods that meet this criteria: - older architecture (1930s and older) - charming and "quaint"/historic look/feel to the area - safe neighborhood/area - reasonable driving distance to Philly - average-sized homes (3-4 bedrooms) in the area of $250-$300K We're in our 40s, educated, liberal, childfree (schools are not an issue). What do property taxes run on houses in that area? Thanks! |
