Got this from you "scrapple" link Dumplings
Scrapple is typically made of hog offal, such as the head, heart, liver, and other scraps,
BTW scapple is not just a DE treat, it is also a Pennsylvania treat.
Oh and you said you like it crispie. That is how my parents cooked it. had to be crispie. The taste was not bad but knowing what is in it turns me off.

Ok, these aren't pics taken by me but as we were talking about food a lot I'm gonna show you some great foods of slower, lower.
Tasty fresh watermelon...mostly grown around Laurel.
Chicken 'n dumplings. Those are rolled, slippery dumplings..not clumps of dough.
 MMmmmm...good fried chicken.
Corn on the cob (my Dad called them "roastin' ears").
Blue crab...these ones on the Indian River are HUGE!!
Fresh veggies found in your local road-side stand.
I'm hungry now!! Can't wait for these fresh things to be in season.

Not that I'm looking to be an old stick-in-the-mud, but please be sure that when you post pictures, you only post those that you have permission to post. The folks at City Data are trying very hard to assure that no copywritten material is posted in the forums because that can actually create problems for them. If you've taken the picture or have the right the post it, feel free. I'm really looking forward to seeing them.
Here is some very helpful information about posting pictures:
