I know there have to be some good cooks up in here! So tell me...what's for dinner?

I've already made a huge batch of chili for a local soup kitchen but that's not what's for dinner for us.

I'm making chicken cacciatore and will be serving that over pasta. I'm thinking of having asparagus also. Just me and my hunny tonight.

Yum!!

Mmmmm...that sounds good.

We ate early, my hunny is now napping on the couch. Dinner must have been good.

Fresh green salad with wonderful giant cherry tomatoes (hard to find this time of year) a little onion, large crunchy croûtons, orange-cranberry honey roasted almonds, and honey mustard dressing.
Baked salmon with a little honey barbecue sauce drizzled after baking, steamed wild rice, and a glass of white wine.

Yep! All my numbers have plumeted.....weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, and no more sugar I will admit, it took some practice to eat it 2-3 times/week, but the results much out-weighed that decision....compared to what my numbers were in March 2007. That, along with flax seed in my cereal and in my no-sugar, no carbs yogurt.

Like they say, if I knew I was going to live this long, I would have started taking care of myself many years ago!

Awesome!! My best friends sister eats salmon for breakfast each day. She notices the profit from it in her joints.

Ribeye steak grilled over a fire, corn on the cob grilled in their husks, with cilantro lime butter, and creamed spinach and for dessert, rum marinated grilled pineapple rings with vanilla icecream, Hubby's the incredible chef in this family, I can take no credit.
