Daddy walks the tired champ back to his crate for his special feast of green tripe and raw chicken.

The humans have their own feast, notice little Zoe on my lap, she's always dresses for dinner(ok maybe not always), this evening she's wearing her purple velvet dress with white pearls, she's a very proper young lady you know.

Bet you cant wait to get involved in some DE shows. Great photos, Laural. Definitely worth some rep points (even if you feed green tripe & raw chicken, blech!, seriously though I know a lot do and swear by it).

Yep when I get a chance I will have to find all the Delaware whippet groups, lure coursing groups, chinese crested groups. I'm looking forward to be connected again. I have to say my dogs are already are noticing it's colder here and I have to literally have to boot them out the door to go potty. AND it's just spring!

Ha, wait til it rains and snows, you'll have to resort to clever ingenuity to get them out, mine are not happy campers, we actually go out w/ them after cajoling them by the back door (tried throwing a ball or a grape and they'd just look at us quizzicly, not too motivated!), have shoveled many a path from the back door across the deck and out to the yard.
BTW, tried to rep you earlier but it didnt work, am new to this format and learning the ropes (sometimes all the smilies in the posts make me dizzy, LOL) but will try again later, the photos were great
Time to feed the kiddo's -

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried that pet-icure thing they sell on tv? I was curious if it really works and if the dogs are less fearful of it than clippers.

Havent tried it - am waiting to hear results from a couple of people who bought it a while ago - I think dremels are good but personally havent had much luck w/ it although I havent perservered as much as I should, I think the noise might make them nervous (and it gets hot so you have to tap it lightly against the nail) - we go to a local groomer once a month for their nails and it's worked out well, we're in and out but I hate paying the $, it adds up. Have used the Furminator and shed ender (from tv, a cheaper version of the Furminator) and like them very much, also the shedding blade (from Walmarts, Targets etc). More than you wanted to know I'm sure, LOL

I was also interested in this product but read the reviews and most people thought it was crap.
We use a dremel on all the guys, it's like an assembly line, once one dog is done we grab another. It works really well, I lay a dog in my lap and give them a massage and my hubby dremels away.

Dover is actually opening its very first dog park this weekend. It will be at Tidbury Park off State St.
