Talking Taking Job In Wilmington, where to live? help!

I will be working in Wilmington, zip code 19808.

I am relocating from NJ and clueless to the area, so all help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I am looking for an apartment/townhouse/condo in a SAFE, quiet neighborhood.

Any places to stay away from? Whats the best in the area? I am willing to commute about a half an hour, but not looking to move to pa (don't want to pay pa and de taxes!)

Thank you!!!

There are a few apartment complexes such as Heritage Court which are on the ghettoer side of things, but if you want, post your apartments you find, and we'll give you a thumbs up, or thumbs down.

19808 is in Wilminton. I wouldn't move in the city until you do the roadwork and see what would suit you there. There are a lot of bad areas.Move to north wilm. around route #202,west wilm, around Delcastle golf course is nice or out towards Pike Creek valley is also nice.Good luck Keats

19808 is not in Wilmington, Keats. It is the area between Elsmere and Newark along Kirkwood Highway.

Sarah, I'm not really good with Bear - it's a large, sprawling suburb of Wilmington and I'm not that familiar. Try starting a new thread and asking the Bear/New Castle people.
