Laughter is the best medicine! Since planning our move to DE, my hubby and I have started laughing more. We have been together 10 years now, we met in college and we have always laughed and had a good time, but somehow we are just starting to see the brighter side of life. I think we have been stuck in a place we didnt want to be for so long we lost our ability to laugh things off and just enjoy life.
Is is a very good feeling to have that back and to see a light at the end of our tunnel.
Tabitha

OMG, ladies, I AM in stitches! Hope I didn't wake my boys up laughing so loud!

Laural, perhaps a "jungle" or "exotic" room or two? I like that idea.. Tarzan and Jane, and loincloths for all! Bet the furkidz would be adorable in theirs! Now for me, I kinda have a thing for George of the Jungle... so if Tarzan is not your hubby's thing, try George! We could even loan you our movies.. I think we have both of them (hehehehe)!

Just be careful if you go that route... sounds like the neighbors there in Middletown might not go for all the noises that might come out your windows if you and hubby get into the "exotic" theme with too much enthusiasm! I mean, really, with only furkidz in the house, oh my... I'd better stop with THAT train of thought!

So glad to hear you folks are enjoying setting up your new home! We can't wait to do that ourselves in a few months... just put in an offer to purchase a house down our way! If all goes well, you should be just about set up by the time we're ready and can come show me the ropes you've learned! And the furkidz can come and run all around our backyard while you're at it!

As far as all the boxes... don't you know they multiply like rabbits while traveling across country? Of course, there weren't that many when YOU left CA, but you did let the boxes travel unsupervised! And they have had plenty of time since you last saw them to multiply by leaps and bounds!

Mary

We've made it thru another week in Delaware, the rain is freakiest thing, it rains on and off for 5 minutes then sunny then rain then sunny. Very weird. Other than that, I'm making head ways with unpacking. We are having our first family get together this memorial weekend, I think the family will forgive me if the house isn't all put together.

Hubby bought a Mercury Mariner hybrid for driving to PA, I've still haven't bought anything yet and I'm going stir crazy so I will go shopping on Memorial day in hopes to come home with something, I'm anxious to check out the beaches before the kids are out of school. Then mom and I will do some road trips. Woo Hoo! East Coast here we come!

Here is the house we finally settled on.

I've never been to Florida but plan to, but I've been to Canada once in the 70's and loved it.
